When Ravi's own daughter was born, they booked a newborn shoot. She cried almost the entire time. The photographer kept adjusting props, repositioning her, trying to get the shot. Nobody stopped to ask if she was comfortable. That experience is the reason Mini Momentz Co. exists — and the reason we do things differently.
In a Mini Momentz newborn session, there are no poses that require baby to be uncomfortable. There are no schedules we need to stick to. If baby needs to feed, we feed. If baby needs to sleep, we wait. If baby wants to be held rather than placed in a basket, we photograph the holding. Because that moment — a parent holding their newborn — is the most honest photograph of all.
The ideal window for newborn photography is 5 to 14 days after birth. During this period, babies are sleepier, more naturally curled, and easiest to settle. Book before your due date and we hold your date flexibly until baby arrives.
Safety Is Not a Checklist — It Is How We Work
Ravi is newborn safety trained and has photographed dozens of newborns across the UK and India. Every handling technique, every position, every prop has been assessed for safety before it comes anywhere near your baby. We never attempt poses that require two-person composite photography and present them as single shots. We never use heating equipment without careful monitoring. We never rush a settled baby for the sake of a different angle.
