Why I Started Mini Momentz
I became a father. And everything changed.
I’ve been a photographer for over 15 years — weddings, events, families.
I thought I understood what mattered in a shoot.
Then I had my daughter.
When she was a newborn, we booked a photo shoot. She cried almost the entire time.
The photographer kept adjusting props, repositioning her, trying to get “the shot.”
Nobody stopped to ask if she was comfortable. By her first birthday, it was the same —
chaos, props everywhere, parents rushing around, and somehow the real moments —
her laugh, her curiosity, the way she looked at us — were all missed.
I realised something that day: most photographers are focused on the setup.
I wanted to focus on the child.
When I came to the UK, I saw the same thing here. South Indian families trying to find
someone who understood their ceremonies, their culture — and getting generic studio
sessions instead. That’s when Mini Momentz was born.
No chaos. No props forced on an unhappy baby. Just natural light, your home,
and someone who quietly watches for the moments that actually matter.
Because years from now, you won’t remember the decorations.
You’ll remember how it felt.
